Dream Big 103
At any given moment, our lives can change in an instant. For some, change is just another day at the office because some things never change; it is the same day in and day out. For others, the smallest notion of the possibility for change is mind numbing, change for them could mean disaster because they prefer things to be in constant order without things being different. For myself, change is welcomed, I thrive for nature to take its course so that there is room for growth, and you cannot develop as a person without change. I would not be who I am today without it.
Change has not been easy for me. When I have failed from sun up to sun down on something I have been struggling with, I want to stop what I'm doing and give up. At that point I am done, and there is nothing else I can do about it, or want to do with it. I have done this on several different occasions, but I have come to the realization that it is only a lesson I haven't learned yet. No matter what path you feel is the right one, the universe can oftentimes step in and take the reins; you're then pulled up to stop in order to look at your surroundings. Take a few minutes to absorb what message is trying desperately to come across while it has your attention; even if it is only a temporary one.
No matter what you do in this world, you can't take it for granted, in all honesty you shouldn't take anything in life for granted. Although, in actuality, we do in fact. We may not realize it at the time, but I think it is because we are so wrapped up in everyday life that we don't have the time to think. Is that an excuse that we don't have time? Yes, yes it is. If we can create a schedule for each individual thing that we do from sun up to sun down, then yes, we can write it clearly on the dry erase board. Of course nothing is just black and white, is it? You have to want it bad enough to keep up with it, without anymore excuses as to why you cannot find the time to stop and look for the signs all around you. They are there, trust me, you only need to listen as to what they are trying to say.
Without a doubt, this all comes from personal experiences throughout my life, and so far now that I've taken the time to listen; the message is coming through loud and clear. I am not saying what has happened for me will happen for you in exactly that way, but if you do stop for only a few minutes a day I promise you will hear your message as well. It will not be loud at first, perhaps only a whisper, but it is meant for your inner ear to hear, and your subconscious to really listen as what it has to say. It won't happen overnight, and your life will not turn around in the blink of an eye, but it will be the start of what is next to come. I hope that the messages that I've been having lately are true, because if they are, then I will be ready for whatever change this life brings.
Change should not be feared, but embraced; whatever comes next is a surprise worth waiting for. Allow yourself to let go, and always dream big.
